FAIR PRODUCTION CONDITIONS
LERROS aspires to long-term cooperation with its suppliers and producers, characterised by openness and trust. We work with over 50 producers worldwide – and we are connected with most of them through an intensive partnership that goes back for many years.
We work exclusively with production partners that conform to our own code of conduct. This is based on the core labour standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) with the obligation to comply with labour and social standards. These include a ban on child labour, special protection for young people, no exploitation or discrimination, as well as appropriate pay and reasonable working hours.
We also recognise the audits by globally recognised organisations, which can be certified for example in accordance with the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) code of conduct or the SA8000 standard.
To monitor compliance with the code of conduct, we carry out our own audits in the production facilities.
